VIC FALLS - CHOBE
Day 1
Fly from Windhoek or Johannesburg to Victoria Falls . On arrival you will be met and assisted by a representative from a local Safari Agency who will transfer you into Botswana to Chobe Safari Lodge.

Chobe Safari Lodge is your gateway to a truly unique African wildlife experience. The lodge is ideally situated for exploration of the surrounding areas. It is only 80km (49.7 miles) from the Victoria Falls, 5km (3.1 miles) from the Kasane International Airport , adjacent to the village of Kasane and situated at the entrance of the world famous Chobe National Park.
Chobe Safari Lodge offers boat hire for game viewing and fishing. A relaxing sunset cruise on the 'Fish Eagle' - a double-decker boat with bar facilities, offers a unique and exciting African game viewing experience. Daily guided game drives are available into the Park and transfers can also be arranged to luxury tented camps in the wildlife concession areas.
The oldest in the area, Chobe Safari Lodge has been taking guests on game viewing trips along the Chobe River since 1963. The legendary 'Chobe Belle' was the first paddleboat of its kind above the Victoria Falls . Today, Chobe Safari Lodge offers the same unique experience with the comforts of a modern lodge.

Day 2
Today you will partake in a game drive in Chobe National Park .
In the afternoon you will partake in a boat cruise on Chobe River .

Day 3
At approximately 10h00 you will be transferred from Chobe Safari Lodge to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge or any other Lodge or Hotel in Victoria Falls .
Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
Situated on a plateau, which forms a natural boundary to the 80,000 hectare Zambezi National Park , the westward facing Victoria Falls Safari Lodge enjoys uninterrupted views and spectacular sunsets. Victoria Falls Safari Lodge offers discerning guests the opportunity to experience an ideal combination of regular game sightings in a bush environment and the grandeur of the mighty Victoria Falls , a five minute drive away.
Thatch, rustic finishes, vibrant fabrics, clay tiles and an extensive use of local hardwoods are key elements in the creation of a distinctly African ambience. Each of the sixty-six bedrooms and six luxury suites has a view of the surrounding bush. The bedrooms are en-suite with corner bath, separate shower and have a hairdryer, telephone and safety deposit box. Nature books and binoculars enhance your enjoyment of the surrounding habitat.
During the day light meals and drinks are served around the pool. At sundown enjoy a cocktail whilst watching game congregate at the waterhole. For dinner, move upstairs to the candlelit Makuwa-Kuwa Restaurant or experience the traditional food and atmosphere of the outdoor Boma Restaurant.
You will be collected at approximately 16h00 for your Sundowner Cruise
Sundowner Cruise on the Zambezi River
Departing an hour before sunset these all-inclusive cruises allow you the chance to watch the African sun setting over the Zambezi River . Wine, beer, champagne, minerals and mouth-watering snacks are included.
On your return to the Lodge you will have a chance to freshen up before making your way to the Boma for dinner.
Boma Dinner
The gastronomic journey on which you are about to embark has its origins in the roots of time – combining excellent cuisine, served traditionally in breathtaking surroundings, with traditional dancers and singers, a local witchdoctor and a sangoma (traditional story teller) to entertain you throughout your meal. Prepared in true traditional fashion, the foods have been gathered from the African soils and customs, such as local beer tasting and pre-dinner handwashing, are observed.

Day 4
You will be collected after breakfast at 08h15 for your Guided Tour of the Victoria Falls .
Guided Tour of the Victoria Falls
This exclusive guided tour takes you through the magnificent Rainforest where you are able to view the Cataracts and a wide variety of birds and plants. This magnificent natural wonder is one of the most renowned waterfalls in the world and our tour guides are here waiting to share this experience with you. The tour lasts for approximately two hours.
You will be returned to the Lodge to relax and have lunch (for guests account)
In the early afternoon you will be collected for your afternoon Elephant Back Safari.
Elephant Back Safari
On arrival introductions are made between the guests, elephants and their handlers, and a brief familiarisation time is spent with them prior to saddling. The elephants are then saddled and the safari commences. The elephants follow ancient game trails and are led by an armed guide on foot. The grooms are friendly and knowledgeable and explain as much as possible about fauna and flora along the way. Guests will enjoy a truly magical experience of an African sunset from elephant back. Sundowners and snacks are served in the bush prior to the transfer back to Victoria Falls by early evening.
On your return to the Lodge you will have a chance to freshen up before making your way to the Makuwa-Kuwa Restaurant for dinner.

Day 5
Today you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight to Windhoek or Johannesburg .
