Day 1:Monday

Travel south to Hardap Dam. View the wildlife on the lake and the surrounding game park. Arrive at the Kalahari
Desert in the afternoon and relax at your Lodge.

KALAHARI ANIB LODGE
The Lodge is situated in the red dunes of the Kalahari, about 30 km north-east of Mariental. There are 45 rooms that
are arranged around a shaded courtyard with a large swimming pool. The Lodge offers a drive through the dunes at
sunrise or around sunset, good bird watching spots and hiking trails. There is a bar and a restaurant.

Day 2:Teusday

Explore the surroundings on a morning walk (unguided, for own account) or relax at the pool. In the afternoon, enjoy
a sun downer drive in the red dunes of the Kalahari.

Day 3: Wednesday

Travel to the Fish River Canyon in the heart of the Nama Karoo. 2

CAÑON LODGE
Cañon Lodge in Gondwana Cañon Park is just 20 km away from the Fish River Canyon. 25 natural stone chalets with
air conditioning, en suite bathroom and thatched roofs, nestle between massive granite boulders and convey a sense
of living in the lap of nature. Enjoy delicious meals at the restaurant and be transported to the pioneering days of
farming by the carefully arranged décor. Read a book at leisure on the terrace shaded by trees or relax at the
swimming pool with vistas beyond the Fish River Canyon..

Day 4 : Thursday

Visit the rim of the daunting Fish River Canyon in the morning and join us on a nature drive in the afternoon, where
we observe the fragile wild and plant life of the Nama Karoo.

Day 5:Friday

Depart for Aus at the edge of the Succulent Karoo Desert – one of the 20 most important biomes in the world. In the
afternoon we will explore the area on a nature drive.

KLEIN AUS VISTA – DESERT HORSE INN
The Desert Horse Inn consists of 24 tastefully decorated rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Sundowner can be enjoyed
on a sundeck, at the Wild Horse Bar or in winter at a fire place in the lounge. On offer are excursions to the feral
horses of the Namib Desert, a day trip to the Koichab dunes, several hiking trails.

Day 6:Saturday

Join us on an excursion to the old diamond towns of Kolmanskop and Lüderitz. En route back we will stop at a
watering point for the Feral Horses of the Namib.

Day 7:Sunday

We travel north into one of the oldest deserts on earth, the Namib Desert where we arrive in the late afternoon.

NAMIB DESERT LODGE
The Lodge is situated about 60 km north of Sesriem and sits at the very foot of fossilised dunes of the Namib. Among
tall trees, there are 60 rooms en-suite, a restaurant and a swimming pool. There is a scenic dunes drive on offer and
a walking trail. 3.

Day 8:Monday

In the early morning we head into the Namib Naukluft Park. We visit the dunes at Sossusvlei, Dead Vlei and the
Sesriem Canyon. In the afternoon we explore the Petrified Dunes in the surroundings of our Lodge.

Day 9:Teusday

We travel back to Windhoek where your tour ends around Lunchtime.

· Due to the possibility of combining tour modules, passenger numbers and tour guides may vary in a tour.
· Air-conditioned vehicles are used, however, bear in mind that Namibia is predominately desert terrain. Expect dusty roads and high temperatures.
· Pre- and post nights in Windhoek for most tours required due to early departure on first tour day and late arrival on last tour day.
· Pick-up and drop off at any central Windhoek Hotel or Guest House included.
