ETOSHA TOUR: Code STE 4 – 4 days

This Tour is available in two different variations:
STE4 from/to Windhoek on Tuesday and Saturday
The Tuesday departure might include a transfer (driver only) to Outjo from where clients meet up with
the guide and rest of group

STE4 from Swakopmund to Windhoek on Saturday.

The Swakopmund departure includes a shuttle transfer from Swakopmund to Okahandja to join the
group departing from Windhoek.
Maximum 15 passengers

Includes:
3 Breakfast, 3 Dinner, Accommodation, bottled water on board, transport in air-conditioned vehicles and guide,
porterage, entrance fees, sightseeing as specified, Springbok Atlas extensive passenger liability insurance.

Highlight: Guided game viewing in Etosha National Park

Day 1 – Tuesday ex Windhoek
– Saturdays ex Windhoek or Swakopmund
Depart Windhoek or Swakopmund northbound. Continue via Outjo (lunch stop, for own account - and possibly
meet up with fellow travellers) into Etosha National Park, where we undertake the first game drive in our touring
vehicle. Just before sunset we will leave Etosha again and drive to our lodge/safari camp outside the Park.
Dinner & Breakfast included near Etosha Park – preferably Etosha Safari Camp

Day 2 Wednesday or Sunday
Day excursion into the Park. Except for the rainy season, Etosha’s animals are dependant on artificial waterholes
and natural springs. Explore the various waterholes along this enormous saltpan, which is called the “great white
place of dry water” in a local language. Lunch stop at one of the rest camps (lunch for own account).
Dinner & Breakfast included near Etosha Park – preferably Etosha Safari Camp 2

Day 3 Thursday or Monday
Encounter the big variety of wild life in the Park one more day. Of the 114 mammals species found in the Park,
several are rare and endangered like the black rhino of the black faced impala. Your guide will also introduce you
to the complex subject of managing such an enormous reserve. Lunch stop at one of the rest camps (lunch for
own account).
Dinner & Breakfast included near Etosha Park – preferably Kempinski Mokuti Lodge

Day 4 Friday or Tuesday
Depart the Lodge or camp and travel south towards Otjiwarongo. Opportunity to join the group en route to
Victoria Falls. Continue towards Windhoek via Okahandja where we will visit a local handicraft market. Tour ends
on arrival in Windhoek late afternoon.

Important notes on Scheduled Tours:
· Guaranteed weekly departures, unless otherwise indicated.
· Minimum 1, maximum 10 passengers, unless otherwise indicated.
· Scheduled tours guided bi-lingual in both German + English, unless otherwise indicated. Enquire about other languages.
· The guide is also the driver
· Due to the possibility of combining tour modules, passenger numbers and tour guides may vary in a tour.
· Air-conditioned vehicles are used, however, bear in mind that Namibia is predominately desert terrain. Expect dusty roads and high temperatures.
· Pre- and post nights in Windhoek for most tours required due to early departure on first tour day and late arrival on last tour day.
· Pick-up and drop off at any central Windhoek Hotel or Guest House included.
· Excluded: personal expenses and drinks, all flights, personal insurance, Visa Fees and Airport Tax in Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe, Tips for Tour guide.
· Some tours are offered in co-operation with well known other Namibian registered companies.
