Day	TRAVEL PROGRAM &AMP; SERVICES
1	Übernachtung: Lodge in der Kalahari (Abendessen \| Übernachtung \| Frühstück) Flugankunft morgens von Deutschland. Ihr Pilot empfängt Sie in der Ankunftshalle am Hosea Kutako Flughafen. 10kg Gepäck (in weichen Taschen verpackt) ist pro Person für die Flugsafari erlaubt. Ihre private Charter-Fly-In-Safari kann jetzt beginnen. Sie fliegen zunächst zu der kleinen Stadt Mariental (Flugzeit ca. 01:05 Stunden). Ein Vertreter der Lodge wird Sie am Flughafen Mariental begrüßen. Anschließender Fahrzeugtransfer zur Lodge (ca. 45 Minuten), die in den roten Dünen der Kalahari-Wüste liegt. Der Nachmittag steht zur freien Verfügung oder fakultativ direkt bei der Lodge eine Sundowner-Tour am Nachmittag in die Kalahari buchen. Diese Aktivität wird in einem offenen und komfortablen Geländewagen angeboten. Der Guide wird sein Wissen und seine Leidenschaft für dieses Gebiet vermitteln. Dies ist eine Tour, um die Kalahari mit ihren unvergesslichen Landschaften, Fauna und Flora kennenzulernen. Alternativ können Sie die Kalahari auch zu Fuß erkunden, eine Karte mit Wanderwegen erhalten Sie an der Rezeption.
2	Overnight: Lodge in the Kalahari (dinner \| overnight stay \| breakfast) Today we recommend that you take part in the lodge's many optional activities or relax in the picturesque Kalahari surroundings. The Kalahari (also known as the Kalagadi) is a thorn bush savannah, sometimes also a dry savannah, but is sometimes also referred to as a desert due to the predominant red sand. Oryx, springbok and other smaller mammals offer beautiful animal motifs against the backdrop of the red dune sand. Optionally, we recommend that you take part in a cheetah viewing today.
3	Overnight: Lodge in the Kalahari (dinner \| overnight stay \| breakfast) This morning is at leisure, or you can take an optional guided Bushman tour with the lodge. Learn about the customs and traditions of this indigenous people that are still practiced today. Other activities include a visit to a cheetah enclosure, morning, afternoon or night drives, riding safaris and much more. Alternatively, you can enjoy the day at leisure in the tranquil and peaceful Kalahari environment, and perhaps take part in a stargazing activity from the observatory in the evening. In the south of Namibia you can experience the uniquely clear night sky (weather permitting).
4	Overnight stay: Lodge at the Fish River Canyon (dinner \| overnight stay \| breakfast) The 650-kilometre Fish River is the longest river in Namibia. A very long time ago, it set off from the Naukluft Mountains in search of the Orange River in the south of the country. But mountains stood in its way and so, over 120 million years of painstaking work, it created the largest canyon in Africa: the Fish River Canyon, an igneous labyrinth in which temperatures of 50 degrees are nothing special. Your accommodation is located right on the edge of the canyon.
5	Overnight stay: Lodge at the Fish River Canyon (dinner \| overnight stay \| breakfast) Today we recommend that you take part in a lodge tour that takes you deep into the Fish River Canyon. This is a day activity and can be booked directly at the lodge. The vehicle winds its way through the different layers of the huge canyon. 650 million years ago, you would have been standing at the bottom of a lake here. When you look down to a depth of 550 m, you have the feeling of standing on the edge of eternity. Few places in the world reveal the layers of the earth as dramatically as the Fish River Canyon. In the afternoon you return to the lodge for another overnight stay.
6	Overnight stay: Lodge in the NamibRand Reserve (full board & activities) Today, after a leisurely breakfast, you will depart for Lüderitz where the plane will refuel - onward flight to the NamibRand Reserve, where you will spend the next four nights. All meals are included here and you can take part in various included activities over the next few days. The activities you can choose from include morning or afternoon nature drives, sunset or sunrise drives, a full-day scenic nature safari, a visit to a village, e-biking, and an Antares tour (naked-eye star safari). These are just a few examples. Note, however, that this lodge does not offer visits to the Sossusvlei attractions, as these are too far away from the reserve.
7	Overnight: Lodge in the NamibRand Reserve (full board & activities) During the next three days, you should take part in as many activities as possible. The unique NamibRand Reserve is an ideal place for nature lovers. Almost all facets of the Namib Desert are represented in the reserve - sand and gravel plains as well as savannah sections alternate with mountain ranges, inselbergs and overgrown dune belts. We recommend that you take either a morning or afternoon drive through the reserve today to enjoy the unique nature.
8	Overnight: Lodge in the NamibRand Reserve (full board & activities) Enjoy another day full of activities offered by the lodge. How about exploring the surroundings during the morning on an e-bike tour, following the winding sandy paths through the reserve over hills, sand dunes and vast plains? You can cycle to a small picnic spot in the desert, or simply ride down to the village. Take part in a sundowner ride in the afternoon and end the day with an impressive sunset in nature. Sometimes you meet up with other guests on one of the sundowner decks, and sometimes it's just you on a sand dune for a sundowner.
9	Overnight: Lodge in the NamibRand Reserve (full board & activities) Today we recommend that you take part in a full-day safari. Breathe in and enjoy the magnificent variety of colors of the vast plains, mountains and sand dunes of the NamibRand Reserve. You will also learn a lot about the small and large inhabitants of the desert and their struggle for survival. Discover the diversity of flora, ranging from hardy beauty to hardy survivalists - not to mention the fascinating geology of the reserve. Alternatively, you can simply relax at the lodge on the last day. The NamibRand Nature Reserve in the Namib Desert is one of the quietest places on earth. Our everyday lives are often filled with noise and activity, but here in the NamibRand Reserve, a stay at this lodge will allow you to escape.
10	Overnight: Lodge on the Kunene River (full board & activities) The fly-in safari now continues north over the endless landscapes of the Namib Desert, with a stopover in the coastal town of Swakopmund, and then further over the Skeleton Coast to Namibia's northern border. On the way, you will see Namibia's spectacular and extremely varied landscapes from the air. Many different forms of dunes, old diamond ghost towns as well as shipwrecks that were stranded here and there on the shores of the Skeleton Coast long ago. After arriving at the airstrip, a vehicle will take you to the lodge, which is situated on the banks of the Kunene River. This is an extraordinary retreat in the desert amidst an amazingly contrasting landscape. It is one of the most untouched and remote areas in Southern Africa. You can enjoy three nights here, all of which are fully inclusive.
11	Übernachtung: Lodge am Kunene Fluss (Vollpension & Aktivitäten) Heute können Sie an einer der zahlreichen Aktivitäten teilnehmen, die von dieser einzigartigen Lodge angeboten werden. Im Angebot sind Naturfahrten, geführte Wanderungen, Bootsfahrten, geführte Quad Bike Ausflüge, Vogelbeobachtung, Sternbeobachtung mit einem Laserpointer, und einen Besuch zu einem nahegelegenen, aktiven Himba-Dorf. Diese Umgebung ist ein wahrer Rückzugsort, an dem Sie wirklich abschalten und entspannen können, während Sie dem Rauschen des Wassers, und darüber hinaus der kraftvollen Stille der Wüste lauschen. Wir empfehlen heute eine Naturfahrt, bei der Sie die vielfältigen und kontrastreichen Landschaften entdecken können. Diese reichen von Dünen bis hin zu faszinierenden geologischen Besonderheiten. Überraschenderweise hat sich ein breites Spektrum von Wildtieren sich an diese harsche Umgebung angepasst. Hier können Sie damit rechnen, an die Wüste angepasste Oryx Antilopen, Springböcke, Hartmann-Bergzebras, Nilkrokodile, Chamäleons und unzählige Wasservögel zu sehen.
12	Overnight: Lodge on the Kunene River (full board & activities) We recommend that you take advantage of the unique opportunity to explore the desert up close on a guided quad bike tour in the morning. This excursion is conducted with the utmost care on specially designed trails in order to carefully preserve the dunes and thus protect the unique and fragile habitat of this landscape. In the afternoon, we recommend a sundowner boat trip on the Kunene River. Expect to see an abundance of water birds and many Nile crocodiles. Beforehand, you can also visit a nearby Himba village and learn more about the customs and traditions of this ancient nomadic tribe.
13	Return flight to Germany Today you will return to the airstrip after breakfast and check-out. From here, your flight continues to Ondangwa, where you will make a short refueling stop. Your flight then continues over Namibia's spectacular central highland landscapes back to Windhoek to Hosea Kutako International Airport. Here you say goodbye to your pilot before checking in for your flight home in the late afternoon.
